Mohammad Rashed is the first Certified Digital Finance Practitioner (CDFP) from Asia and 5th globally. He played the key role for introducing fully funded scholarship program sponsored by Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation for Bangladesh Bank and public sector officials to participate CDFP program jointly offered by The Fletcher School, Tufts University, USA and Digital Frontiers Institute, South Africa. He is the Founder and President of Digital Finance Forum Bangladesh.
Mohammad Rashed has been serving Bangladesh Bank (central bank) since 2006 and is currently in the position of Additional Director. He was the lead researcher/author of the Study Paper, “AML/CFT Regulation for Mobile Money: Policy Options for Bangladesh” (2017) and “NGO/NPO Sector Assessment of Bangladesh” (2015).
He represented Bangladesh Bank in Focus Group on Digital Financial Services (FG-DFS) and Focus Group on Digital Fiat Currency (FG-DFC) and Financial Inclusion Global Initiative (FIGI) of International Telecommunication Union (ITU). International standards, policy, regulation and supervision of digital finance, digital economy, FinTech innovation, inclusive growth and AML/CFT are his areas of interest.

Mohammad Zulfikar

Mr. Mohammad Zulfikar is a seasoned telecommunication practitioner since last 30 years in the capacity of Staff, Instructor, Officer Commanding and Commanding Officer of Signals and Telecommunication Units of Bangladesh Army and Director (Systems & Services), Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).
Mr. Zulfikar was a member of Focus Group on Digital Financial Services that held between 2015-16 by ITU. He is also a participating member of Focus Group on Digital Currency and Digital Fiat Currency implementation during 2017-18 by ITU and participated many conference, seminar representing BTRC.
All these capacities and competencies are directly related to the digital services of the country in terms of policy making and regulations for the industry. Specifically, he was member in the Technical Committee for USSD Regulation & Pricing and has working experience in policy making on Mobile Financial Services with collaboration of central bank of Bangladesh. He is former Director for Policy & Advocacy in the mobile industry association- AMTOB. He has keen interest to continue his contribution for promoting Financial Inclusion in the country and outside.
Colonel (Rtd) Zulfikar is a CSE graduate from BUET and presently working as CEO of a Telecommunication Company.

Mohammad Jakirul Islam

Jakirul Islam is a Senior Vice President of Bank Asia, one of the largest private commercial banks in Bangladesh. He leads Digital Banking, Special Projects & Innovations in his current role. Jakirul brings more than 16 years of experience in digital financial services space by working with leading international financial inclusion consulting firm, telecom operators, banks, and MFS providers in Bangladesh and Nepal. His areas of expertise include digital financial services strategy, policy and regulation, product design, agent network management, branding and marketing. Jakirul is a proficient market researcher and specialises in conducting behavioural market researches.
Jakirul anchored country's first of its kind long-term DFS programs funded by Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation & MetLife Foundation in Bank Asia agent banking. He managed a number of large donor funded country level financial inclusion programs as a Country Manager with MicroSave Consulting. He launched and managed country’s pioneering mobile financial services Rocket, DBBL and MYCash, Mercantile Bank during his earlier tenure in banking. He also played a contributory role with country’s pioneering telecom operator. He obtained an MBA majoring Finance and a Bachelor of Computer Science from University of Dhaka and Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) respectively. He is a seasoned international conference speaker attended more than fifteen international conferences across the regions

Mohammad Majidul Haque

Mr. Majidul Haque is a seasoned business professional armed with 14+ years of experience in working for domains encompassing digital technology and finance with telecom, banking, and international development organizations. Adept at overseeing digital transformation, digital financial services, digital payments, and digital services development lifecycle from inception till the end while conducting tests in diverse environments. Possesses skills in assessing business requirements to optimize the business process flow and devise strategies to expand the customer base and business.
Throughout his career, Majidul has successfully introduced DFS and digital services to a wide range of segments, including smallholder farmers, social safety net beneficiaries, local government officers, community health workers, ultra-poor women, slum dwellers, and ready-made garment workers. In addition, he is the author of various publications focused on finding opportunities and challenges of integrating DFS within different value chains.
He is currently working as Mobile Money Analyst – UNCDF in Solomon Islands. He is also playing a Strategic Advisor role in AGAM International, a British fintech startup headquartered in the UK.
